Purchasing TicketsBocs
Tickets to the GO3 iiNet LAN are for sale now through BOCS ticketing. There WILL be on the day sign ups....but because of the shear size of the event, it would be easier to pre book. Tickets to the LAN are $55.00, which includes entry to the GO3 Expo for both days. Great value, when you consider that entry to the GO3 Expo itself is $18/day for adults (which means you are in effect only paying $19 for the LAN) Be sure to buy your ticket as soon as possible as space is filling quickly!

The GO3 iiNet LAN will have its own exclusive gamers lounge and cafe restaurant that will be open throughout the event. The lounge will have all the comforts of home, a jukebox and some fun gaming machines.

What to bring
The GO3 iiNet LAN is a BYO computer event. To avoid difficulties on the day, drop-off of bulky gear (Cases, CRT monitors) will be available from 9am till 9pm on Friday, 30th March at the Perth Conference and Exhibition Centre. The LAN Arena will be a high security environment with security guards and CCTV covering the whole arena for the entire event.

All of your computer gear will be security tagged & registered to you, nobody but you can remove it.
Nobody can remove equipment from the area without a security check and a security escort.
LCD screens, laptops and computer peripherals (mouse, keyboard, etc) can be brought with you when you arrive on Saturday to the LAN.

All power cables and power boards must be tagged and tested, as this is a state safety requirement.

If you do not have tagged and tested power cables, please tell bocs when ordering your ticket and you will be supplied with 2 that you can keep at a cost of only $10

BREAKING NEWS!

Signins and Computer Dropoffs
The LAN party doors open 9:00am Sat 31/3/2007. You can bring all your equipment with you at that time to sign-in on the day, but as you can imagine there will be a large amount of people to process and there could be some delays. For those who wish to avoid queues, we have arranged for the option of allowing you to drop off computer cases and monitors on Friday 30/3 between 9am and 9pm. This is not compulsory; it is simply available for your convenience. Those who choose to take advantage of this option will be able to enter immediately via VIP entry on Saturday morning without needing to queue with other patrons.

All equipment entering the premises will be security tagged and placed in a secure area. NOBODY can remove equipment from storage without passing through security checks. Please note that drop-off is available only for monitors and computer cases. All peripherals can be brought with you on Saturday morning.

Prepaid
Anyone who prepays for the event before March 17th will go into a draw to win a nVidia Geforce 8800GTX Graphics Card, valued at over $1000! Prepaid signups for the LAN close Saturday 24th March.

On-The-Day Signups
For those of you who are hoping to buy tickets at the door, there is no guarantee that there will still be tickets available by this time. However, by preordering your ticket you are guaranteed your seat, and of course by pre-ordering you will also go into the draw for the nVidia Geforce 8800GTX Graphics Card.

Testing and Tagging
This is not a new requirement. All venues, BY LAW, are required to enforce this government legislation. This is for your safety and the safety of your equipment. You can get your leads tested and tagged at ANY electrician. If this is difficult for you, we will have tagged and tested power leads available on the day to purchase. These MUST be preordered and will be available at the low price of $5/each. When purchasing a ticket with BOCS, you will need to indicate if you need power leads.

LAN Prizes
There will be heaps and heaps of prizes for the LAN games from all the sponsors, exhibitors and supporters.
There will be cash and prizes to the value of around $10,000
