 We are proud to announce that GO3 Electronic Entertainment Expo, in conjunction with WALAN and DNA has officially accepted the contract for 2007 and 2008 to host Australian final for the biggest electronic gaming competition in the world,
E-Sports World Cup.
E-Sports World Cup has a prize purse of over $400,000 (US) All states in Australia will be holding preliminary rounds that will entitle them to send finalists to compete at the Australian National Qualifier at GO3 in Perth 31st March 2007.
Finalists from the National qualifier held at GO3 in Perth will be flown to Paris to compete in the grand final, against over 50 countries for the richest prize pool in the world.

Dance Dance Revolution Competition
Over the last few weeks, Awesome Amusements, with help from Dark Light and Orbit Amusements, have been running DDR preliminary competitions. Over the weekend at GO3, we will see some of the best DDR competitors from around Australia battle it out to win a share of cash and prizes to the value of $1000 and the title of the GO3 “DDR Champion, 2007”. This promises to be an action-packed and fun competition to watch. To be apart of it check out the rules here:

Cos-play
 GO3 in conjunction with JAFWA, PANIC, Animavericks and MCAC will be hosting
a National Cosplay competition
The GO3 National Cosplay competition will be one of the highlights of GO3.
There are lots of great prizes up for grabs, with one overall winner
receiving a return trip to Japan with accommodation and tickets to the 2007
Tokyo Game Show.
The following will be categories of competition:
• Best Male Costume
• Best Female Costume
• Best Group Costume
Competitors will be introduced by our MC's, walk on in character, pose and
have a brief interview with the MC's and judges. As each competitor will be
judged on their costume and role playing performance, the competition will
be fierce!

GO3 will be hosting Nullarbor a National Demoparty & Game Development competition
Nullabor is an event designed to bring together a community of Australian programmers, designers, artists and musicians to promote interactive technologies and a form of electronic art called demos.
